Fall scenery on Prince Edward Island

The weather has been unseasonably mild this past month, making fall colours last much longer than expected. I’ve spent many of these colourful days on the beach, but also in and around the forest, where it’s now finally safe to explore again (mosquitos are gone!).

Here are some photos of the fall of 2017 on PEI:

Now it’s November there is a definite chill in the air, and colours are slowly being drained from the land. We haven’t had any snow here yet, but much of the mainland is covered in it already so I’m sure we won’t have to wait much longer. Brrrr…

Thanks Edwin, yes there are 4 shots from above in there, in 1 of them you can even see me, just below the watermark.

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!! You got a drone! These are amazing photos (I’ve missed your photos, are you posting anywhere else?).

The 2nd last one is SPECTACULAR! No words to describe how much I love it. Wow, wow, wow!!

Thanks Karen, the aerial perspectives are pretty cool aren’t they? Flying around is a lot of fun 🙂
I haven’t posted much to either blog lately because I’ve been working on the fall update of the East Coast Trail Guide, which will be out soon 🙂
