Only one more week to go before my mom arrives and we start our tour of Prince Edward Island and beyond, and this satellite image shows it’s going to be a very different experience everywhere we go:
Prince Edward Island is all clear in this picture, no more snow, no more ice, just lots of lovely spring scenery. Newfoundland is a very different story, it’s still covered in snow for the most part, and there’s even a lot of sea ice present in two of the locations we’ll be visiting.
There’s also still snow on the highlands of Cape Breton, but it’s still a while before we visit there, so that may all be gone by the time we get there. Any way you look at it, it’s going to be a great tour of Atlantic Canada!
