Lighthouses and sea ice

Last Friday I toured the island in search of lighthouses and sea ice. I spent some time at Wood Islands, Point Prim, Malpeque, Thunder Cove, New London, drove all of the Gulfshore Parkway, and I was home in time to pick up Marije from work. Not bad eh? Here are some photos from this productive day:

If the ice keeps spreading like this, soon I’ll be able to see it right here in Souris! 🙂

In time to pickup Marije? You?. But the pictures of the lighthouses and the see ice are great. And that’s what matters!!!!!

Thanks! At one point I think I even spotted a tiny iceberg on the horizon, but I didn’t have my binoculars with me so I couldn’t confirm, I’ll keep looking though 🙂

We’ve tromped all over these places for 18 summers, nice to see them in the winter – and great shots by the way …
