A week of winter in Eastern Kings

Winter weather has been a rollercoaster ride this week, going up all the way from Monday’s -36° to Thursday’s +9°, and now all the way back down to today’s -23°. As long as I get my regular dose of sunshine it’s all fine with me. Here are some pictures from this lovely week:

The sunset shot above was taken at the Souris lighthouse, the two shots below are from Basin Head Provincial Park:

I found this fox wandering around the frozen estuary in our backyard, I think he was looking for muskrats:

This sunrise shot was taken at East Point, there’s always something to see there. Look closely at the horizon and you’ll see Cape Breton in Nova Scotia:

These last two are from yesterday morning in Hermanville on the north shore:

A pretty good week, made even better by the fact I saw a bobcat on one of my early morning outings! It just crossed the road in front of me while I was driving, but it was pretty exciting nonetheless 🙂

This reaction is a little bit late. I like that red fox and picture of the ice ” sculpture” . And the sunset near the lighthouse. Great!. Hope to see more👍
