Today marks the 7th day of our journey to PEI and we find ourselves taking a much-needed break on the sandy beaches of beautiful Lake Superior. So far our trip has gone very well, we’ve seen all kinds of weather, all kinds of wildlife, and all kinds of scenery. Driving through the towering mountains of Alberta’s Icefields Parkway was once again a major highlight of the trip, even though we had pouring rain and loud thunder above us for much of the way. On our way through the prairies we had nothing but blue skies and lovely sunsets every evening, a real pleasure with those amazing 360° views you get there.
Tomorrow we will pack up once again, resuming our long drive to PEI and passing through the rest of Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick before arriving at our temporary residence on the north shore of our new island home.
See you there!
